It’s been a long time coming but, in the final hour, Lost managed to pull out the single greatest truism ever uttered in either it or any other show.

Miles: I don’t believe in a lot of things, but I do believe in duct tape.

Bravo. Worth the 6 year wait.

Also, I suppose I should mention the final twist.

So what, Michael and Walt don’t get to be part of your big happy family afterlife party? Fucking racists.

Final Series Review: I still find the show’s ‘travelling with purpose’ music highly enjoyable.

Charlie Brooker’s news based Screenwipe spinoff, Newswipe, is back for its second series and already, only two episodes in, it seems like a much more surefooted affair than the previous series. Here’s the last episodes fantastic parody of generic roving reporter stories:

It’s on Tuesdays at 10:30pm and the previous week’s episode can be caught on iPlayer for those in the UK. The whole series will probably be stuck up on YouTube, although it’ll mean clicking on the next part every 10 minutes as usual.
